Our farm is 150 acres where we currently run 46 Scottish highland cattle and highland X Red Devon.
We practice rotational grazing and produce 100% grassfed, certified organic beef.
There are lots of opportunities to expand the business and the animals on the farm.
The farm is family owned and operated. We are looking for someone to manage and farm the property as our family is mostly retired.
Currently the farm owner lives 3 hours away. She loves the farm and visits frequently to help.
Therefore there is not a permanent resident on the farm.
The neighbor is a teenage boy, nephew of the owner, who enjoys helping with the farm.
Ideally, the farm manager and the farm family's personalities would blend and the manager would accept help from the family.
The current farm manager lives nearby and has learned that she cannot be the mother she wants to be and give the farm what it needs. She would love to help anyone get established on the farm and also lend a helping hand on occasion.
