Your job: Focus on promoting food security by growing and processing vegetables, small fruits and managing a few mature apple and pear trees. Include chickens, sheep/goats and/or a cow for milk and manure. All while developing a productive permaculture layout. Grounds maintenance as needed. Construct fencing as needed. Identify and handle or learn how to do anything that needs to be done.
A do-able plan will be worked out together and help will be provided as needed. Looking for a motivated person with long-term prospects to be part of our productive business team.
Educate farm helpers in basic skills.
If needed, you would join us in off-season to work in Uriel Production Dept. An alternate possibility is that you work enough hours during the season to be off in the off-season!
I am willing to invest in needed equipment/facilities to be productive and efficient.

7 miles west of the town of East Troy, WI (pop. 4600). 40 min. SW of Milwaukee.
4 acres, half is flat, half is a sloping "kettle". Owner's home and 3 business buildings are on the property, along with 2 parking lots. Some areas have been in vegetable and herb gardens, that soil is decent, other areas not cultivated and soil poor. This property was never part of the surrounding commercial agricultural land (corn/soybeans). Willing to invest in long term upbuilding of soil fertility. Because the existing pharma business can finance this operation there is no economic pressure for immediate returns, only urgency based on current world economic/political situation.
