We raise and sell about 16,000 broilers, keep about 2500 hens, about 180 pigs, 200 cattle, and 1300 turkeys. We usually have around 6 employees, several part time staff, and several interns. We sell through our Farm Store, Neighborhood Deliveries, and to Wholesale customers.

Warrenton is about 50 miles southwest of Washington, DC. In Fauquier County--lovely old towns in beautiful rolling farmland. The piedmont of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our farm is about 3 miles from Warrenton.

The Customer and Product Manager is responsible for a wide variety of duties that include leading and managing our Farm Store, Neighborhood Deliveries, and Product Inventory.

He/she:

Must understand and believe in our mission of raising food that is healthy for the land, animals, customers, and community.

Must be extremely kind and friendly, and in general, be a ray of sunshine for our customers.

Must be enthusiastic about doing good work, owning his/her domain and improving it, hustling, and leading others to do the same.

Must be physically fit and able to lift 75 lbs.

Must be detail oriented to keep our products and inventory on track.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Specific Duties:

Managing our Farm Store and making improvements for our customers’ experience. Training and leading staff who work in the Farm Store.

Leading order fulfillment and communication for our Neighborhood Deliveries.

Keeping our inventory accurate, and freezers organized.

Communicating with our vendors and processors.

Strategizing about adjustments to solve for issues of being long or short on products.
